Hi there! My name is Kevin O’Rourke and welcome to Dark Is Rising. This website is a little dream of mine. It is a central place for my stories and writings. Most of my experience is in TTRPG design but I have been dabbling in fiction. Mostly I write horror and with my deep love of the genre, it seeps into most of my stories anyway.

A place for my writing specifically is not all I want this place to be though. I want this to be a place for my friends and even eventually anyone to be able to post their own stories.

As for the name, I just thought it was cool! As stated I mostly write horror or at least unnerving things so I figured the title of this place should reflect that. Plus it really does just sound neat in my opinion.
